Portrait and landscape painter. Born in St. Paul on August 6, 1893. Student of Cormon, E. Laurent and Henri Martin. He studied at the Salon of the French Artists around 1920. He obtained the National Prize in 1925, and in 1928, the Gold Medal, as well as the Legacy-Lebrun prize. His works had shown in Paris in 1965 at an exhibition of landscapes and snow paintings. He used a thick paste which gave his paintings exceptional depth.
